AlertsAdvanced Training in Collaboration, Our Newest Member BenefitLINK: online education brought to you by The Legacy Companies and sponsored by NAEPC This fun, interactive and self-paced online course is loaded with content, including: how to prepare yourself for collaboration; how to conduct the initial client conversation; helping the client invite other; advisors to the planning table; how to have a successful initial meeting with other advisors; successfully hosting the Strategy Session; how to host the Client Recommendation Meeting; and the step-by-step 4 Phase Model for collaborative planning. Resource for Members—Sample Client Letter Highlighting the Importance of Teaming in Light of the New Tax ActAs you know the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017 was recently enacted. Not only does this create new challenges for you and your clients, it also creates new opportunities. The Act changes traditional planning in many ways (e.g. corporate tax rates lower than individual tax rates) and creates entirely new concepts (e.g. the Sec. 199A 20% deduction for pass-through entities). No single discipline has the expertise about each facet of the new tax law and its implications to adequately address all the concerns that clients will have. With this in mind, we want to remind you of the importance of multi-disciplinary teaming and the resources that NAEPC has made available to you.
WebinarsThe Robert G. Alexander Webinar Series provides estate planners with accessible, affordable, multi-disciplinary education.
